We have just been informed by W.Bro Jim Irvine’s daughter, Lynn, that he passed away peacefully this morning at 10.30 in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gateshead. W.Bro Jim was admitted on Monday feeling very poorly with a suspected infection and pneumonia but he subsequently tested positive for coronavirus.
W.Bro Jim had been a long time visitor to Lodge Temperance 2557 and had been our Tyler for some while and became a joining member about two years ago when his mother lodge closed.
He will be greatly missed and our thoughts and sympathies are with his daughter and family at this very sad and difficult time
