The Worshipfull Master invites you to attend Lodge Temperance 2557 business meeting where we will be electing officers for our ensuing year. We will also take a further step in our Masonic journey with a talk by Wbro David entitled “Joshua’s Longest Day.”
In the second degree, we are told that “In this position, Joshua prayed … so that He might continue the light of day and complete the overthrow of his enemies.”
What was actually being described? Was this an astronomical event? If so, could we determine when and where it took place? Wbro David decided to find out.
The highlight of the festive board will be exceptional catering from in-house caterer and bar manager Dorothy and her team with a hot and cold buffet featuring chicken curry, rice and chips and despite our name you are more than welcome to enjoy an alcoholic tipple with your meal.
