An excellent evening was had by all at the Lodge Temperance 2557 festive meal that followed our regular meeting on 16th December.
Flu and sickness depleted attendance but, for those that were able to join us, it was a great evening. Dorothy, the caterer, served an excellent three course traditional Christmas meal – vegetable soup, turkey with all the trimmings and christmas pudding with ice cream.
Several wore their dancing shoes and danced to the fantastic vocalist Beth Clarke after the meal and the evening finished with a raffle that raised £158 for local charites.
