It is with great sadness that we report the death of a former member of the Lodge. Bro Darren Marcus died in his sleep during the evening of Thursday 8th February.
Bro Darren, who was 47, worked for the National Grid in Newcastle and then in Leicestershire. He relocated to Barwell but maintained his membership of Lodge Temperance 2557 for several years after his move, eventually resigning in 2013. Bro Darren had 16 years service as a Freemason with Lodge Temperance 2557 being initiated in the Lodge on 24th June 1997.
Our heartfelt sympathies are with his family at this sad time.
