Lodge Temperance 2557’s regular meeting and festive board held on Tuesday 15th April was a great evening for the Lodge, the bar, the caterer and visiting Brethren with an excellent presentation entitled “Masonic Airwaves” from Wbro Keith with contributions from Wbro Nev and Bros Tom and James.
We had 10 visiting Brethren on the night with Newcastle upon Tyne Lodge no 24 represented by five members, Holmes Lodge by four and of course our guest Tyler from Delaval Lodge.
Originally planned as a demo 2nd Degree, sadly some key members had other commitments, so Wbro Keith stepped in with a talk about the community radio station “Radio Northumberland” including its relationship to Freemasonry. He covered the history of the station, its presenters and recent shows –New Wave with Newman, the Cheese and Crackers show (Wbro Nev) and Phantom Frequencies (Richard Craig and Bros Tom and James).
Phantom Frequencies is a show featuring “ghost stories”, so if you’ve seen a ghost or had a paranormal experience get in touch with Wbro Keith and get yourself on the radio.
